Why the Steelers Couldn't Stop the Broncos
Last night, the AFC wild card game was played between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos. You might've heard of the game, by the talk this morning on television networks. Tim Tebow, Broncos QB, led the Broncos to a win, but it wasn't easy. The game went something like this: Broncos dominate the first half, then Steelers tie it up mid 4th quarter, game goes overtime, then, BAM. Tebow Time! :D Now, this was surprising, as the Steelers defense was expected to shut down the Broncos. This makes me want to know why they couldn't stop the Broncos. I figured it out, and I'll tell you why. First off, the Broncos offensive line was outstanding. The "Steel Curtain" was right in front of them, and they did their job and protected their QB exceptionally. Next is Tim Tebow himself. As you might know, Tim Tebow can run powerfully when he needs to. Therefore, even when the Steelers d-line got to him, he did a great job escaping, and extending the play. Also, he got help form his WR's, by them recognizing that their QB needed help. I think the Broncos were a great team last night, and I hope they do well later on against the Patriots.
