RIM Unveils Blackberry OS 2.0

At CES, RIM has announced the next version in their mobile operating system. Blackberry OS 2.0. The next version is very simple, and most stock apps have been somewhat redesigned. One big feature, is that Blackberry OS 2.0 devices will be able to support and run Android applications. The only drawback, is that for some reason the devices take considerably longer to boot up. During the demo Engadget saw with the Blackberry Playbook saw, the Playbook wasn't exactly smooth. Overall, there were only very minor changes, and application redesigns. Obsessively press the refresh button for more CES posts!
