Apple Education Event Recap

Yesterday, Apple had a long awaited press announcement, that told about how Apple was changing the education industry. Apple has always been a big part of education, but today, they took the iPad, and like they usually do, revolutionized technology and education. They showed off iBooks 2, which will have lots of textbooks there, ready to be downloaded. Plus, they have partnered with McGraw Hill, a textbook making company, to immediately bring a variety of textbooks. There is also a new application for Mac, called iBooks Author. There you can very simply create books, and somehow publish them to the iBooks store. I am very impressed with these new advancements, and I hope my school will switch to these!
