Peyton Manning: "Cleared to play"

Earlier yesterday, Peyton Manning claimed to be ready and cleared to play. This is referring to his ankle. Obviously, this kept him out of playing this entire season, and the Colts went 2-14. Peyton is expected to retire within the next year or two, but strongly tells sources that he will not retire right now. This means Peyton will either stay with the Colts, or be picked up in free-agency. More than likely, the 2012-2013 NFL season will be his last, due to the fact that Andrew Luck is expected to take the reigns as quarterback for the Colts. We will have to wait and see what happens with the NFL Draft and free-agency. Looks like Peyton will stay and play in the NFL for at least one more season.
