Yesterday of course was Super Bowl XLVI, and the giants won, fair and square... sadly. Anyway, shortly after the game, the official Twitter account of Twitter (say what?) tweeted that the highest tweets per second was at the end of the game, with a high of 12,233 tweets per second. If you ask me, that's pretty crazy. During Madonna's halftime performance, there was "an average of 8,000 tweets per second for 5 minutes." For 5 minutes straight. Remarkable. The game was great, despite the Patriots losing, but hopefully next year I'll have some more luck.
