webOS Goes Open Source

In mid 2011, HP killed off webOS (not entirely). No new devices will have webOS, and there is no support for the system anymore. If you have a web OS device, and ever have problems, don't call support. Today though, HP let webOS go open source (or start to go open source ) by releasing Enyo 2.0 for free to developers. Enyo is the webOS app developing framework, and now anyone can get it. Enyo 2.0 is the second generation in Enyo. I'm glad webOS still has a small developer community, and hopefully webOS could get a second chance. Open webOS (open source version of the OS ) will be coming in September, to regain a bit of control.
