There are so many people, and systems in this country that need a complete overhaul. It's like having an ugly outdated kitchen. Sometimes you just need to gut it, knock down some walls and start over. Same goes for this country's education system. What a joke! Too many rules and regulations to be followed, so many years and money must be invested into acquiring an education so that one might be taken seriously with-in the job market. What a shame it is that if I wanted to teach my own native language English as a second language, here in the US, I would need to obtain a degree, a minimum of fours year and study an extensive amount of other subjects that I am not interested in, not good at, will fail the class and not only that, will not use at all! But, I could go to just about any other country and and be an ESL teacher without a degree.
My point is, they need to change a whole lot of things here.
In fact, if you ask me there is too much prestige given to those who are able to obtain a college education. No offense to anyone out there who has one. Kudos for doing something that I am not capable of accomplishing myself. :) However, I feel that just because someone has a degree in the area of his/her choice does not mean that that person is any more capable of performing their job any better than the next guy who just might be...God forbid, "self-educated" on the subject.
So many things are wrong with-in the school system in general. However I think that a large part of this issue belongs on the heads of the parents. It's my opinion that for so many, education is undervalued with-in the home. The lack of putting a value on the necessity of a great education and ability to become acceptable to a decent university , leads the child into a false sense of security, bringing with it a lack of desire one so desperately needs to focus on their education. Poor families can't afford the high price of Universities, others just don't place an importance on it at all, others are too ignorant and don't have the mental capacity to be a part of it, and then we have the rich ones who whether they care for it or not, they go because they can afford it and their rich college graduate parents placed education on a pedestal, making it a must, not just an "if we have the money, or if you want to". I wonder how different things would be if we had not been lied to. Just been plain out honest and said, if you take this path you will be just "okay" or you take this other path and you will be "successful". The truth hurts way less than the cover-up.
That age old saying that i've heard time and again, that one does not need a college education to become successful, was obviously written by someone with out one, who just happened to get lucky. I think in the past this type of thinking was not wrong exactly, but was just was more achievable at that time. Regardless it was still suffocating the individual with a false sense of security instead of being honest. The sad thing is that it is usually many many years before one realizes that his airways have become restricted and by that time it is too late to right the wrongs and no point in trying, as a good chunk of his life has already come and gone. It becomes much easier to remain stagnant and with-in constant reach of his oxygen tank.
We must understand this type of thinking does not, and cannot apply to the world in which we live in today. There are too many rules, regulations and political correctness. We have politically corrected ourselves into the toilet. Too afraid of what might happen if we really say what we think. We ourselves have created a society in which we have made it IMpossible to NOT rely on what we can be given by others, and what others think and decide we are deserving of. We no longer have the ability to choose and create the person we want to be. We must redirect our wants and aspirations to follow a different path, one that just might have less "red tape" and regulations. Someone else's path entirely as we must adhere to the regulations and restrictions that have oppressed us and are slowly suffocating us to death.

Why the DROID Razr probably isn't the Phone for You
Lately in smartphone news, there has been great hype over the new, updated, Droid Razr. The phone came out yesterday, November 11th. If you don't already know, This is a dual-core phone, dual-cameras, 4GLTE, and a Super AMOLED display. The big selling point: It's the thinnest smartphone on the market. Which leads me to think that a lot of people shouldn't be getting this phone. Now sure, if you aren't clumsy with your phone, or you don't excessively use your smartphone, then these don't apply to you. But If so, keep on reading.
The only reason I say this Razr might not be for you, is if you just "want" the thinnest phone. After I state these reasons, you might second guess upgrading your phone... unless you're coming from the original Razr.
Let's start with battery issues. If you're a power user; or even just use your phone a lot; you'll probably be putting an extended battery on this phone, especially since it's dual-core, and 4GLTE. These facts ruin the point of the"worlds thinnest phone". Also, since this phone is pretty expensive, you want to protect it. Meaning, there will be a case on the phone. What's the point anymore?

How the Death of Flash will Effect the Smartphone Battles
So, since Flash killed off Adobe on mobile devices, how will this effect the company battles between Google and Apple. The reason I use Google and Apple as examples, is because Apple claimed Adobe Flash was not the way of the future while Google used this as a marketing win, by putting Flash on Android. Now, Apple is in the right, since Flash will no longer be put on new smartphones. Joke is on you Google. Adobe finally admitted, and agreed with Apple on this issue. It looks like HTML5 is where we're headed. This will effect the battle between smartphone companies, noticing that one of the key selling points was in fact, the ability to run Flash.

Flash is Gone on Mobile Devices!
Adobe is pretty much killing off Flash. Don't worry, not completely, but Adobeis killing Flash on any mobile device. Android, BlackBerry OS, everything. Adobe also said that flash is really not in our future, and that something else should takeover. My thoughts on this? Well, flash is still here, and it will be quite a while until people totally convert from flash to html5, or something else. It's great that Adobe is admitting that change is needed. Tell us your thoughts down below.

Samsung/Google Galaxy Nexus Specs!
So, last night, Samsung announced their extremely hyped Galaxy Nexus. Yes, Galaxy Nexus, not Nexus Prime, like all the rumors pointed to. This Galaxy Nexus will have a 4.65 inch-screen, with a display resolution of 1280 x 720p (Super AMOLED HD). It's like an HDTV, in your pocket! For RAM, it's holding 1GB, and for storage options, the Nexus will come in two different versions; 16GB, and 32GB. The Galaxy Nexus wil also be using LTE, and possibly, soon, HSPA+. The Galaxy Nexus will not be available in any different color options; only black. There is aso a 1750mAh battery aboard the deviceThe only thingI am weary of about this phone is the camera, which will be a 5MP back-facing camera, with 1080p video recording. For the front-facing camera, it wil stay pretty standard for font-facing cameras; 1.3MP. Now, the Galaxy Nexus will be running Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. One new feature is FaceUnlock. FaceUnlock will be able to recognize your face to unlock the device. There will be a little different design for the lockscreen, and homescreen, but nothing mind-blowing. That's pretty much the Galaxy Nexus! So, will you be getting one of these soon? Or maybe getting an iPhone 4S? Tell us in the comments below.
