Why the New England Patriots will win Super Bowl XLVI

Super Bowl Sunday is right around the corner, and football fans are beginning to side with their favorite teams. Fan battles should get heated, but I'm here to lay down the facts. First of all, I am not going for a specific team, as I base my opinion on the following information.

One factor is Tom Brady. Tom Brady can pick apart any defense in the league, including the Ravens, and the Broncos. Here's one reason why:

Rob Gronkowski is always there for Brady, and not a single defense in the NFL has managed to stop "The Gronk" all 60 minutes. If Rob Gronkowski can do as much damage as he has, the Patriots will be very successful on offense. With the Giants pass rush, Tom Brady will need a target to go to if there isn't enough time to throw the ball downfield.
Another factor is whether or not Tom Brady will have enough time to make big plays. The Giants pass rush includes Osi Umenyiora, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Justin Tuck. The offensive line needs to protect Brady, and this might not happen. Even worse, Brady has virtually no run-game to fall back on.

This Patriots defense has been quite pathetic throughout the season, but I honestly think they have grown a lot. If the secondary holds up enough for Victor Cruz, there shouldn't be any breakout plays. In some of the Giants previous games, the deep threat is a game changer. The pass rush really isn't very threatening, therefore Eli Manning will have a lot of time in the pocket, but again, it looks like both offenses will score consistently. This might be an offense only game, and should come down to whoever has the ball last.
